Onomatopoetry's newsletter has received a makeover-- as of February 2009, the publication will become  a quarterly newsletter.

Inside each issue, Onomatopoetry offers sample writings, discussions, and mini-courses.

Guest  poets, writers and artists are welcome. Please contact the author here if you would like to send a submission.

Deadlines for submission are the Monday before the publication date which is the first Saturday of the month for February, May, September, and December.

Poetry Mini-courses Art Writing
Poems should be less then 60 lines on any subject; preferably a type that is rare (e.g., sonnets, fibonnaci . . ..) or twists on some old ones (e.g., tanka, haiku . . .). Can you give an example of a writing style or poem? Can you teach a mini-course in under 1500 words? Then submit away . . . Have a photo or digital art piece to share? We are looking for fresh juxtapositions to life and the imitation of life. We are all about writing. Articles, essays, and other discussions are welcome. Please limit your work to 1500 words.
